Dreamjob with TEKA?
Architect and bailiff are the jobs three young pupils of secondary schools in Vreden (St.Georg-Schule) and Stadtlohn consider as their dream jobs. On Thursday October 8th, 2009 they did a day-long training program with TEKA in Velen consisting of trial lessons on CAD applications and a look-around at the external training centre in nearby Borken-Weseke. Although they said to have enjoyed the day tremendously Dennis, Muhammed Ali and Igor did not want to reconsider their career aspiration. For, who knows what the future holds?
The one-day internship was part of the project "dream job" introduced a couple of years ago by the "Bürgerstiftung Westmünsterland" (Civic Trust of Western Münsterland), which is intended to clear pupils' way for apprenticeship. The main reason for disappointment in a new job is a mistaken view of it. Yet, this should absolutely not be the case with Dennis, Muhammed Ali and Igor as they are already planning their next internship.

The Minister of Environment meets TEKA representative
In a truly special meeting TEKA's Elie Daher took part in the Republic of Lebanon.

The Minister in turn told him about the Lebanese government's plans of passing a law on the subject of indoor environment and was very pleased when Elie Daher at once offered TEKA's help in this matter.
In the meantime the Lebanese Ministry of Environment have already contacted Elie Daher in Germany to specifically catch up on the German laws on air purity and safety and health in the workplace.
